Basket with Fruit of the Spirit CRAFT

Our children Leia and Dino are still talking about patience, self-control, kindness and all the other "fruit of the spirit". They are still singing songs from our Camp. But this craft is just a wonderful way to encourage these wonderful character traits in our little ones. So we decorated all of the fruits, cut them out and then laminated them. We also laminated the Basket, and attached a magnet on its back. This way it stay on the fridge and it reminds us to practice the "fruits" in practical ways. We attached the tape to each of the fruit, and every time Leia shows patience, love, kindness etc., we add that fruit to the basket.

When the basket is full, she gets a treat. You decide what that would be for your child. Here is how our basket looks, and below is the link where we got this craft from:

I hope this craft brings as many blessings to your home as it does to ours!

A note from one Mom that brightened my day

I am still missing my little March Break Campers and I'm praying for all of them, to continue grow those "yummy fruits" that we talked about last week, in their hearts and lives every day.

Here is one note from one of the Moms whose 2 little girls attended our Character Builder CAMP. it really brightened my day and I had to share:

"Hi Angelica, I want to THANK YOU so much for offering the free March Break character building class to the kids! Sasha and Trista keep singing about patience, gentleness, love, kindness, self-control, etc. Sasha tells me she loves the Lord! You are an amazing teacher to have such an impact on the kids, given that they only attended for 2 days...and with no exposure to God at all. Your kindness and generosity is much, much appreciated. Thank you :) and may God bless you & your beautiful family!"

Do you love your children?

Do you love your children? How do you show them your love? By telling them... maybe drawing some hearts?

How would it sound if God told you "I Love You", just like you as a parent say it to your little one? How would it look if God winked at you? Showed you He cared?

This is how it looked to me on Monday, the first day of our March Break Camp for kids 3-6 years old, where we combined Bible based Character Training with Kindermusik, outdoor play, science experiments and more. We were going to talk about Love and Joy, first two out of 9 fruits of the Spirit mentioned in the Bible. And as I was cutting up the strawberries, fruit that represent love, this is what I saw (picture above).

This project that I was doing, FREE MARCH BREAK PROGRAM, was my Thank you to God who always opened the doors for me in the last 7 years of me teaching Kindermusik in many different locations and classes. I never had to advertise my program because I have God who owns everything and He wanted me to be happy, to teach Kindermusik and to be blessed.

I did not go to sleep before midnight each night last week, but every morning I was so excited, and energized by the power of God, and this was probaby one of the most beautiful weeks in my life.

"Abide in Me and I in you. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me, you can do nothing.

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love.

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." JOHN 15
